Falmouth Primary Academy—PTA
Welcome to all parents, carers and friends of the school.
When you join Falmouth Primary Academy – as a parent, guardian or member of staff – you automatically become a friend of the school. We all have a role to play in supporting our school and aid our children’s journey through their primary years.
The PTA committee are here to help co-ordinate events and we invite all friends of the school to get involved whether that’s through helping to organise events, coming up with great fundraising ideas, baking a cake – or buying a raffle ticket to win one of our amazing raffle prizes!
Events and fundraisers that we have held in the last 2 years include;
So whatever Friend you are – organiser, volunteer, cake baker or raffle winner, we hope everyone will get something from being part of our school and will enjoy giving something back. If there is anything at all we can do to help you settle in then just say it – or if there is anything you would like to suggest or get involved with – please do contact Mrs Jade Sonnichsen (our school secretary) who co-ordinates the PTA efforts on behalf of the school. We have a dojo page you can join to share ideas and receive updates, which Mrs Sonnichsen can add you to easily.
Last year we raised a fantastic £5643.90 which we put towards some much needed Ipads to aid the children with their learning and in 2020-21 we have already raised enough money to purchase two outdoor learning sheds for our KS1 children to use and enjoy.
We welcome every idea or suggestion and if you would like to join the committee as a member or volunteer we’d love to have you onboard., so please get in contact today!
COVID UPDATE: Please note that due to current Covid restrictions we are having to limit the interaction from parents/carers within school. We still welcome all of your ideas, but are currently unable to hold physical events and PTA meetings, this means that fundraising is being done virtually and co-ordinated by Mrs Sonnichsen at present. As soon as restrictions are lifted we will be welcoming everyone to come into school to discuss plans for future events (and to catch up with a hot drink and a cake or two!).

Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
